To support the local production expansion program, Bekaert Sladkovicovo ( BKSL ), in Slovakia is actively looking for an “ Expansion Project Manager “ (EPM).

Function:

The EPM has the following main accountabilities:

General:

• Ensures the project as a whole is delivered within time and budget.
• Presides the expansion program team.
• Gets introduced to and acquainted with the Bekaert organisation and production processes in Slovakia and abroad.
• Sets the appropriate KPI’s and manages their follow up.

Technical:

• Supervises all equipment selection and buying.
• Formulates proposals and manages all aspects influencing an efficient production process.

Flow management:

• Analyses and implements logical lay outs, using best practice references within the Bekaert organisation.

Systems:

• Follows up on installed and to be installed production systems to guarantee the requested volumes, product quality and delivery terms.

People:

• Designs and implements the necessary organisation structure.
• Supervises the effective implementation of the staffing plans.
• Coaches and develops his people in order to have a motivated team that is capable to reach targets set.
• Supervises the detection of training needs, the making of training programs and their implementation for both blue and white collars.

Suppliers & customers:

• Knows, understands and involves suppliers and customers, building excellent relations.
• Makes sure all parties involved are aligned on technical and logistics issues.

Profile:

• Degree in Engineering.
• Seasoned professional ( 8 to 10 years ) in a hands on manufacturing environment, focussing on operational excellence and efficiency.
• Experienced in managing successfully multi million € turnkey projects.
• Good knowledge of spoken & written Slovak and English is a must.
• Prepared to travel from time to time.
