Function:

The IT Operations Manager will be based in the Leuven office and will be responsible and accountable for managing and supporting the infrastructure within HQ but also international offices, when required. The IT Operations Manager will report to the Corporate IT Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Managing a team of 3 direct reports
• Provide 3rd line support within HQ but also to other offices
• Management of local and global infrastructure within the offices (Servers & WAN/LAN & back-up)
• Responsible to define and implement IT security policies and support its technical implementation
• Liaising with Service Node Managers with regards to support and infrastructure incidents
• Assistance in the development of new services / Project Management for infrastructure projects (from gathering business requirements to delivery)
• Support / implementation Disaster Recovery Solutions

Profile:

• Bachelor in IT
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience
• Technical competencies:
o WAN/LAN/wireless infrastructure – Cisco routers & switches – VPN access
o Microsoft active directory – Microsoft exchange 2007 – VMWARE – Citrix
o Windows 2008 server – Windows XP & Vista & Win 7 – Redhat Linux – HP-UX Unix
o Altiris – Blackberry enterprise server – Lotus Notes
o Microsoft office
o ITIL processes framework
o Microsoft MSCE certification is an asset
• Personal competencies :
o Strong technical IT skills
o Communication skills
o Excellent understanding of the business environment
o Leadership skills
o Project management experience
o Languages : English and Dutch
