To support the local production expansion program, Bekaert Sladkovicovo (BKSL), in Slovakia is actively looking for a “ Human Resources Manager “ (HRM).

Function:

The HRM will be responsible for developing and implementing an adequate personnel management and will additionally drive the expansion program from the HR side:

• Designs and implements adequate organizational structures and processes.
• Gets introduced to and acquainted with the Bekaert organisation and production processes in Slovakia and abroad.
• Ensures the recruitment and selection of non-exempt personnel and assists in hiring managerial staff.
• Is responsible for retention, promotion and training programs throughout the organisation together with the line management.
• Develops and implements appropriate personnel systems for job evaluation, performance management, competence management and development, training & development, job rotation, transfers, etc..
• Ensures a smooth pay-roll management and oversees the correct implementation of compensation & benefits systems.
• Correctly applies social legislation, collective labour agreements and other commitments.
• Prepares and negotiates collective labour agreements.
• Ensures adequate relations with local trade unions representations and fosters a positive social climate, discussing and resolving personnel issues.
• Ensures an adequate communication flow inside the plant.
• Coaches, trains and develops his people in order to have a motivated team that is capable to reach targets set.

Profile:

• Degree in Social Sciences, Engineering, Commercial Engineering or Economics.
• Relevant human resources management experience ( 8 to 10 years ) in an environment combining blue and white collars.
• Experienced in managing general HR and major recruitment projects successfully.
• Good knowledge of spoken & written Slovak and English is a must.
• Prepared to travel from time to time.
