Recruitment and Selection at Cross is carried out in two different ways, which if required can meld seamlessly into each other, these are: advertising and search.

Through advertising – and this includes a whole range of media from print to internet – you name it – we can bring the message about your vacancy to the labor market. Cross does this either under its own name, which guarantees you confidentiality, or under your own name, which perhaps marks the start of a whole marketing campaign.

But we are foremost experts in direct search.

If candidates do not make it as far as you or if the profile is really extremely well-defined, Cross will search out the best the candidates for you. Indeed we cannot create the ideal candidate for you ourselves. Nor do we have a warehouse with racks full of human capital that we can load into a trolley. We do, however, look together with you at the best place to find the person you are looking for. We map out the whole market, identify the key players and contact them in a targeted way. Interested, motivated and qualified candidates come to Cross for an in-depth interview and based on this the most suitable and even the ideal candidates are presented to you.

Our direct search success formula also borne fruit supporting clients in their expansion plans across Belgian borders. For our first international mission in 2004, we recruited candidates all over CEE for an international automotive company in Belgium. Our consultants immediately realized that quality surveillance of the whole process was an important asset in our services.

To support this strategy, the company set up out an internal quality cell, responsible for developing and implementing procedures necessary for streamlining complex multinational recruitment projects.

Cross also decided to grow in depth, not in width, through highly selected local business partners. Initially focusing on CEE and Russia, we wanted to ensure our presence in CEE by the opening of a Polish office in Warsaw in 2006. This was not only necessary to attract local customers, but similarly to strengthen visibility and liability in the whole of the region.

Nevertheless, in the meantime our working area did expand considerably. Clients kept coming back to us and gradually we grew from one local business partner to several partners, spread over ten countries all over CEE and EMEA.

Our approach has borne fruit. Cross's international business realized a growth of 300% turnover in 2007. In 2008, we are able to serve worldwide, guarding over the same level of quality our clients have enjoyed through all our cooperation.
