History

Cross started up its activities in 2001, concentrating on the recruitment, selection and search for IT profiles for different sectors. At that time, the company focused on employing network and systems engineers. However, 9/11 and the economic consequences thereof resulted in the core business changing orientation and shifting more towards Human Resources consultancy.  

Over a two-year period the company grew considerably in scope, breadth and depth. Thanks to a successful cooperation with our clients, the constant input on the part of the consultants, the flexibility in finding more HR solutions for clients and the additional new business, we were able to expand our portfolio and were successful in securing bigger recruitment and search projects.

From a nucleus of four people in one single Belgian office, we evolved to an international team of three offices with 15 employees and a large number of local partners worldwide.

In 2004 we started to work intensively on the Central and Eastern European markets and closed our first partnership agreements with local business partners. These successful missions were further consolidated with the opening of a local Cross office in Warsaw in 2007.

Our ambition to serve our international clients on a worldwide level urged us to look beyond the European continent. In 2008 we concluded the set-up of a worldwide network of partners, enabling us to serve clients on a multinational level.
